Back Creek Nature Park

Volunteers can collect seeds on Back Creek Nature Park; however, they are to stay away from areas with construction activities.

Truxtun Park
Volunteers are allowed to collect anywhere on Truxtun Park.

Waterworks Park

Volunteers are encouraged to collect on Water Works Park; however, they must first get permission by contacting Marisa Wittlinger.

* Collect anytime. M-NCPPC asks that for every seed you collect, you leave at least one in place to ensure adequate food for wildlife and natural re-seeding. It also asks that volunteers not collect in the vicinity of their nature centers or other public buildings.

Click here for a letter of permission for volunteers to collect tree seeds on M-NCPPC park property. The group leaders in parks should have a copy of the letter with them.
