Get Out and Get Nuts!
Potomac Conservancy and Ford's Seed Collection Challenge

It's time to get outside and start collecting with Growing Native! Register your seed collection today so we can mail you seed collection material and answer any questions you might have! To register your collection event, click here!

After you collect your seeds, let us know how many pounds you have gathered by entering the "Get Out and Get Nuts" Challenge. For each pound collected, Ford will contribute one dollar to our tree restoration projects. Thanks to Ford for this great opportunity!

The "Get Out and Get Nuts" Challenge will remain open until November 15. Please collect only until October 31! Click here to fill in how many pounds you collected.

Are you up for the challenge?

Contact Kate McNamee, Outreach Coordinator, at mcnamee@potomac.org or by calling 301.608.1188 x211 for more information!

Volunteer with Growing Native!

We need volunteers to act as "seed sweepers" by picking up seeds at drop-off sites and transferring them to nearby state nurseries or forestry offices. Pick-up trucks or vans preferred!

Please contact Kate if you are interested!
